This iron features a large, easy-to-use head, offering distance, high trajectory and accuracy.
Despite its maximized head size, the IE-03 is designed with a deep, low center of gravity (CG), effectively enhancing ball loft and ease of contact. Along with increased head size, the rebound area of the face surface has been expanded by 25% (in-house comparison), greatly improving distance performance. These clubs, with the maximum head size offered by HONMA, are also gentlest on the golfer.
Large Head, Large Face
Club faces are designed to be one millimeter higher and longer than our traditional models, with a gentler, more reassuring shape.
Rebound surface has been increased by 25%, reducing loss from mishits.
Effective CG Design
Maximized head size contributes to improved distance performance. Fitting the heads with two nine-gram tungsten weights ensures a deeper, lower CG despite the large head size. This delivers greater ball loft and ease of contact.
